Therapists

All therapists at The Foxwell centre hold internationally and professionally recognised qualifications in their chosen treatment areas. Furthermore, all therapists are on professional registers recognised and recommended by both the Department of Health and NHS services for Complementary Therapies. We ensure they hold current Professional Liability Insurance and are therefore governed by strict codes of conduct. You can be assured that you will receive the highest standard of care at all times ensuring your health and wellbeing are always put first. The therapists will also continually strive to have the most up-to-date information on current treatments and policies including undertaking annual CPD courses to improve their knowledge base and practice.

Elizabeth studied at Bournemouth University obtaining her RGN qualification in Adult Nursing with an 18 month speciality in Learning Disabilities. She has extensive nursing experience of over 13 years worldwide clinical knowledge and is an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) in Accident & Emergency Medicine. Elizabeth continues to work in this field as an ENP across the South West region.

Since qualifiying she has undertaken numerous postgraduate courses at Bristol University and Oxford Brookes University gaining qualification in both a PGCE and Diploma in Medical Education. She has completed further study to become a qualified Nursing and Midwifery Council Lecturer/Practice Educator and has lectured nursing students and medical professionals at the University of the West of England in Bristol for over 2 years. Recently she obtained her Emergency Nurse Practitioner qualification from Middlesex University in London and is in the process of completing her MSc in Medical Education.

Elizabeth is a licensed Acupuncturist. She holds a Diploma in Acupuncture and has completed courses on Auricular Acupuncture, Microsystems Acupuncture, Electro Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture/Facial Revitalisation as well as Wrist & Ankle Acupuncture for the treatment and management of Musculoskeletal and Sporting Injuries.

Furthermore, she is a qualified Reflexologist and holds the ABC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology from the Central London College of Reflexology in Covent Garden and has a focus on Maternity Reflexology. She is a fully initiated Reiki Healer of 9th in line to the Usui Method of Reiki – taught by a private Japanese tutor in London. Elizabeth also holds a Certificate in Nutrition from the Insitutute of Optimum Nutrition in London, which she utilises in advising clients how to promote health and well being through diet.
